Obituary from the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal, 28 May 2010:

"LOCKPORT — Susan E. Flynn, of Lockport, NY, wife of the late George Flynn, Jr., lost her battle with cancer Thursday, May 27, 2010, at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Lockport, NY, May 12, 1950, the daughter of Lorraine Beach and the late Allan Beach. Susan touched the lives of many people. Whoever she met quickly became a friend and everyone had a special place in their heart for her. She was not only known for her excellent cooking and entertaining, but also her great sense of humor. Even when going for treatment, it turned into a 'chemo party' and lasting friendships and  memories were made. She took great pride in her grandchildren. Hunter and Evan described her as 'the best Nana ever'. When her granddaughters were young she hosted the best tea parties for little girls.  Susan was the supervisor of housekeeping and laundry at St. Clare Manor in Lockport. After that closed she became a bus aide for Ridge Rd. Express. Susan was an exempt member of the Wrights Corners Ladies Auxiliary. Susan recently celebrated her 60th surprise birthday party with friends and family. 

'Fianceé of Paul Patterson of Lockport. Mother of Paulette (Jeffrey) Jabot of Texas, Pamela (Shannon) Reese of Ohio and Michael (fianceé Tiffany Arden) of Lockport. Sister of Cynthia (James) Charbonneau of Lockport and the late Sandra (Rudolph) Gehrman and the late Jeffrey Beach. Grandmother of Emily, Savannah, Jeffrey Jabot and Hunter and Evan Reese. Also survived by several wonderful friends."
