Funeral Information:

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 3-7 P.M. at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA.  Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at First Presbyterian Church, Wilton, IA.

 Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 10:30 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church.  The officiant will be  Pastor Jennifer Jennings.  Musical selections will be provided by organist:  Sharon Bowers.

 Serving as casket bearers will be Dean Maurer, Tim Marolf, Robert Sours, Kevin Wells, Tom Howell, and Bret Kuebler.

 Interment will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA.

 Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Iowa City, IA in his memory.

Life Overview:
Thomas William Oien, age 50, of Wilton, IA, died on Monday, February 20, 2012 at his home in Wilton, IA.

Tom was born August 15, 1961 to C. Lee “Salty” and Mary (Maurer) Oien in Muscatine, IA.  He married Kimberley A. Donovan on July 26, 1980 in Wilton, IA.

 He was a Certified Commodities Transportation Engineer specializing in concrete with Hahn Ready Mix in Wilton, IA.

Tom was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Wilton, IA.  He was avid collector of toys and memorabilia.  He enjoyed playing cards and socializing with his friends.  Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.  Tom was a great friend to many and enjoyed helping others. 

Survivors:
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Kim of Wilton, IA and their children: Carla and her husband David Johnson of Wilton, IA and his son Donald Oien of Wilton, IA, his sister Laura and her husband Ron Klerk de Reus of Wilton, IA, his brothers David and his wife Bonnie Oien of Wilton, IA and Steven and his wife Rita Oien of Wilton, IA, and his grandchildren:  Grace, Regan, Kylee and Skylar.
