WICHITA - Pastor Jeffery Alan Glenn, 50, of Wichita, joined the eternal party of praise and worship on Sept. 24, 2006. He died following a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

A memorial celebration will be hosted by Central Christian Church Wednesday at 3 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Jeff Glenn Children's Education Fund, c/o Intrust Bank..

Jeff was born Jan. 28, 1956, in Winfield, to Leona M. (Aronhalt) and Francis A. Glenn Sr. He attended Winfield schools, graduating in 1974. From 1990 to 2005, Jeff owned and operated Glennco Home Electronics, a custom installation business.

In October 2005, he joined the staff of Central Christian Church as small groups director.

On Sept. 3, 2006, Jeff's longheld dream became reality as he was officially ordained into ministry. Praise God for His work in Jeff's life and through those he touched!

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Claudette (South) Glenn, a son, Gaston, 16, and a daughter, Jama, 14, all of the home; his mother, Leona Glenn, Winfield; two sisters, Repha Buckman, Hope, Ark., and Del Glenn, Kirkwood, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
