BURDEN - Cindy Lynn Parkerson, 47, a resident of Burden and Wilmot, died Jan. 10, 2004, at her mother's home.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miles Funeral Service. Burial will be in Wilmot Cemetery.

The family will hold a private viewing.

A memorial has been established to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.

Parkerson was born Dec. 17, 1956, in Harper, to Nina Patricia 'Pat' (McBride) and Virgil Jenkins. She was raised in Anthony until she was four; then her family moved to Winfield. When she was a sophomore in high school, they moved to Burden where she graduated from Central High School in 1974.

She married and had four children and lived in and around the Burden area. She later moved to Wilmot. She worked at various jobs including at Rubbermaid in Winfield for three years. Most recently she was self-employed until she retired in January 2003.

She was a member of The Vine Life Family Church in Arkansas City.

Survivors include a son, Justin Payne, Augusta; three daughters, Tara Hying, Andover, and Krista McLaughlin and Karen Brewer, both of Augusta; her parents, Pat and Virgil Jenkins, Winfield; two brothers, Don Parkerson, College Station, Texas, and Jeff Jenkins, Winfield; two sisters, Mimi Campbell, Winfield, and Hilary Jenkins, Augusta; and seven grandchildren.
