Deborah Kaye "Debbie" Millie, age 60, passed away February 3, 2010 after a five-month struggle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1949 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and grew up in Winona, Minnesota. After graduating from Winona State University, she taught school and coached girls' sports in both Minnesota and Texas. "Coach Millie" taught for twenty years at Terrell Wells Middle School in San Antonio before retiring in 2002. She was a caring and fun-loving person who loved country music and the outdoors. Her hobbies included playing golf, bowling, boating and camping. She also loved going on cruises. Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Maynard Millie. She is survived by her mother Harriet Millie; brother Laurel Millie; sister-in-law, Mavis Millie; nephew, Craig; nieces, Lisa and Stacia who reside in Minnesota. She is also survived by long-time friend Pamela Funk and many other good friends who will miss her very much. Services pending.
