Where did you go for lunch? I remember McDonalds but I feel like I have forgotten so much.

I too remember the DQ.  I also remember the "race" to get to and from our lunches and still have time to eat.  I drove by GHS just this week and they have soooo much more in a close proximity these days.  Do they too get to leave for lunch? (or did we ruin it for everyone?)

Yes... always a mad rush. I don't remember eating on campus. I must have at some point early on but I totally don't recall it now.

I remember going to McD every day.  Had a huge wreck jr. year with about 6-7 cars involved.  Nobody was hurt so that was good. 

We rushed but still managed to return late everyday, but Mr. El didnt even notice.  :-)

We always ate on the way back from the Career Center.  Seems like Burger King, Micky D's, and Wendy's were on the way on Salis Creek/Peters Creek Parkway....is that what is still called?  Its been 20 years since I have really been home.

The race to DQ was always fun and remember the gut grenades from the gas station at Union Cross and Old Salem, they were worth the money, they would definitely stay with you for a day or two. Also remember raiding the cabinets at my house and Johnny Slates house, our Parents used to have some serious grocery bills.
