What teacher(s) do you remember the most? I remember Mrs Whicker, Mrs Carpenter, Mrs Bucher (sp?), and I just forgot the name of the history teacher!!! Probably more. Good grief. I am getting old!

What was the name of the Spanish teacher? She was always so scatterbrained. But let's keep it all positive here of course!

Ginny Alexander by far was my favorite. Wish I could find her again, last I heard she went to Japan to teach English... hope she's not dead cause I'd love to thank her.

Mike Kestner (he was only there for our freshman (and maybe sophmore) year) was a close second, I actually tracked him down. He went on from teaching Algebra/Computer Science at Glenn to be North Carolina's statewide education system's CIO in Raleigh, retired from that, and now (at least a couple of years ago) works at the US Dept of Education where he'll retire from a second time. Crazy.

My favorite teachers were:

History: Frank Cachia, he was the reason why I took history for all four years and my not so secret crush.

French: Montine Scales (I think that was her last name), she was so sweet.

History/Econ: Mr. El-Amin, was pretty cool also.

Driving: Mr. McCloud: He was crazy, the reason why I can't seem to drive the speed limit now!

Mr. Wilder and Mr. Tyner in shop. I don't think I went to spanish class enough times to remember Her name. Mrs. Bagley from Home Ec. for seniors, still see Her often at Food Lion, She is still wide open. Wow! Home Ec. for seniors , had some crazy days in that one - remember bringing in choice beverage that goes with PIZZA! and going to that class after a mad dog 20/20 lunch!
