WINSTON-SALEM 09/28/1958 - 11/15/2017 Bonnie Louise McMillian Dodd, transitioned to heaven Wednesday, November 15, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born on September 28, 1958 to Kelly and Sarah McMillian. Bonnie was the baby of the family and always had a smile and encouraging word for everyone. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Donald McMillian. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Forsyth High School and was employed at Westinghouse (currently Siemens). She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Kellie; and the loves of her life, four granddaughters, Kayla (Carlos), Kesley, Kourtney, Kasie; one great-grandson, Carlos Fletcher III; one brother, Billie J. McMillian (Minster Alberta McMillian); two sisters, JoAnn Burnette and Sarah Willette McMillian; three nieces, Monica Wilson (Walter), Kimberly Jarrett (Corey), Sara Burnette; a nephew, Donald McMillian (Geovanna); and one special nephew, Darryl Sawyer and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 18 at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist, 1711 N. Claremont Ave. in Winston-Salem, NC, 27105.
