Dina was one of the first persons that I met when I moved from Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh to Wachovia in 1964. She worked as a computer programmer under the leadership of Ron Dickson developing Payroll sottware as a product for Wachovia Services to automate payroll processing for Wachovia's business customers.. The most difficulty that I had with Dina was learning how to pronounce her name. I succeeded and enjoyed saying it as it had a musical rhythm to it.
She was a gem, everyone liked her,her capbilities and humor.

I always called her Denika and she reminded me of a pixie with her bright eyes and perky personality. She was such a pleasant person, quietly effficient and super dependable. Her last name rolled off my tongue as New-wen-house. Like Dave said, it had a musical tone. So sad to hear she is no longer with us.
Rhonda Law (Russell)
I worked with Denika in 1968-1970. We were a little band of workers who put the Trust Department on computer which consisted of Ted McKathern, the V.P. of the Trust Department at that time, Pat Sellers, Denika, Chip or Skip (?) and me, along with a number of computer wizards! I was only 20 years old and she was a good friend to me. Rest in peace, Denika

It saddens me to hear and see that Denika has passed. She was a dear friend, co-worker and neighbor of mine. She was a Unique person who I loved. Loved her wonderful personality and all that she did to make life more pleasant for all who met or had any association with on this earth. She will always be in my good memories as I really appreciated her Witt and charm. Faye Calder
