Our fellow classmate Kristy Beckel passed away on June 5th, 2007, from complications due to a congenital heart defect. Her mom and husband are hoping to help raise awareness and to support research. They are participating in a heart walk named "Kristy's Hope" to benefit the Congenital Heart Walk. There is information below if anyone would like to support the cause and Kristy's memory.
