Janet Yates Kerns, 65 of Wise died August 13, 2011 of injuries due to a motor vehicle accident.  She is survived by Chad and Tommy Kerns.

Janet was a woman of God,always doing for others. She made cakes,but her love was making quilts,she made quilts for cancer patients,people who had lost their home,all her family. She was the primary caretaker for her 87 yr. old Mom. She was a widow and Nana to Sidney,Nicholus,and Ashley.She was my sister-in-law but after being married to her brother Jack for almost 43 years,she called me SISTER. She is MISSED TERRIBLY but, our loss is HEAVENS gain.RIP SISTER!!!REGINA ORR YATES
