Survived By: Daughter-Melanie Mullins Maiden Mother-Beulah Sisters-Yvonne and Teresa And too many nephews and nieces to count

We met the first week of school in the eighth grade and instantly became best friends. That friendship grew all the way through high school and continued over the years. We saw each other through the hard times and the good, shared the joy of raising children of about the same age, and supported each other through the deaths of parents. Paulette was active in the local Cancer Society and had battled cancer once before. I was privileged to be at her side in the hospital when she passed away. From time to time, I still start to turn my car in the direction of her office when I drive by Norton. I miss her so much.
