WISE, VA. SEPTEMBER 28, 2012

Jerry (Bean) Addington, 74, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his home. He attended Stevens Church of God in Wise, VA, was a retired employee from Wise Hospital and was an avid Wise County Sports Fan. He was preceded in death by his sons, Charlie Addington and Matthew Addington; parents, Wade and Venie Addington; three brothers, Calvin Addington, Hobart Addington and Lewis Addington; and a sister, Violet Shupe. Surviving are his wife, Susie Addington; two brothers, Billy Joe Addington of Wise, VA and Jimmy Addington of Indiana; a sister, Letha Owens of Wise, VA; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Jerry (Bean) Addington will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Cliff Bowman officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2012 in the Wampler Family Cemetery Wise, VA. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for services.
