Art would have been in the Class of '65, but he died of leukemia at the end of 8th grade. Before his death, he was excited to be going to high school and would have been in the Fast Learner program designed by Yale. Like his father--who worked as a chemist on government projects during World War II--he wanted to be a chemist. Art had his own laboratory in the basement of his home on Petrose Circle, but I remember him most playing sports with the neighborhood gang and acting in plays that we made up. His younger sister and brother--Noelle and Keith--also went to Amity.

Thanks for that Nancy. For those of us who did not ever know Art, you were able to give us a glimpse of him.
