Graduated from UGA and escaped to California. Became a CPA, a CMA and a CFM (had an initials fetish obviously). Lived in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach and basically enjoyed my 20s while working a good deal.
Was super excited when Allison and then Amy and Jimmy ended up on the left coast. Little did I think I'd be moving back close to "home".
Went to USC (go Trojans!! Fight on) and got my MBA in strategic planning. Allison chides me that I must choose only one school, but I watch both my bulldawgs and Trojans every weekend during the fall.
Went to work for Vulcan Materials Company in Glendale (Burbank) in Los Angeles in 1999 (having no idea they had quarries in Cherokee and Kennesaw), transferred to corporate HQs in Alabama in 2004. Met my wonderful wife at Vulcan and we went to Italy in 2003 for our wedding.
Now have two boys 4 and 2, Graysen and Drayten. Living in suburban bliss on highway 280 (that either explains it all to you or means nothing).
In my 10th year with Vulcan and am currently Manager of Financial Analysis and Reporting.
