I probably was the first person to meet Judy from our class. Actually we weren't even in any class or school at the time since we were both newborns! Our mothers shared a room at the hospital in Woodstock. I was born on March 31 around 10:30 PM and she was born on April 1. So sad when she died. I also knew and was chums her boyfriend Gary Stedman during the days we had paper routes in grade school. I remember speaking to Mike Kelly at Judy's viewing both of us trying to make sense out of it which, of course, we couldn't. At least not on this, the backside of the tapestry we know as life. Rest in peace, Judy!
I remember what a shock it was to hear of her passing at school. Someone so young to be gone so quickly. It taught me that our life here is not promised to any of us.
