In Memory

James Cloyes

James Cloyes

I was saddened to learn of the death of Jim Cloyes. You might recall Jim sponsored our 50th reunion Friday evening event at "The Ranch". Pizza for everyone. A supporter of all things WHS, we will miss him. Service to others was a part of his DNA and honoring his country as well. It was only yesterday I discovered he had left us, having died on October 13, 2021 of lung disease. Jim Dyer and I were researching classmates to contact in planning for the 55th reunion when we discovered he was deceased. We sadly add Jim to our Memorial list of names. Peace to all. Condolences to his family and loved ones. DJ

Very sad to hear about Jim today.  Susan and I were so moved hearing his life story at the Ranch during the 50th party. Vietnam was horrific for him, during and afterwards. He persevered and continued to help so many.  Blessings, George

I was saddened to get the news that Jim had passed on.  He was a bright light to many around him, and I'm sure he has been very much missed.  He kept us in stitches at our table at the 50th WHS reunion (well done, Jim)!   Now he is keeping company with the angels and the Lord, smiling all the way.

And a continued big thanks, DJ & Jim, for the many dedicated tasks and time you do behind the scenes to keep this website updated and relevant.

Saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Like the rest, did not know of any health issues he might have had. RIP Jim.

I'm sorry to hear of Jim's passing.  Like the rest of you who have commented, I thought Jim was a very fine guy.  He had a good-natured and often mischievious sense of humor about him that it seems everybody enjoyed as much as me, and I'm grateful that Don Jones and Jim Dyer went looking for him.  Rest in peace.  Will Logan

Jim was a great talker and teller of his/our (class of 1967) stories.  He had the great ability to put a smile on everyones face.  Thanks for being a friend.  Rest in peace.
