Hello everyone. Happy New Year... Took a look at the pic John Devereaux posted (5th grade Gates Lane pic) and can name just about everyone. A serious blast from the way past. Gee we were cute kids. So, is the party on for June around Joey W's pool? I have to agree that his graduation party was legendary.

I'm willing to buy anyone a drink who DOES NOT post any photos of me displaying one of my mother's do-it-yourself perms from Grade 7 and/or 8. Thankfully, the stuff wore off by 9th grade. And, thankfully now that I am a mom, I've never put my own girls through the agony of 'home created' spa treatments.
The pictures are fun to look at though.

Hi everyone, Like John, stumbled across this sight from facebook (thanks Bets) and, again like John, just lost about an hour of work catching up on the posts and clicking the profiles. It's funny, I haven't seen, or in most cases, even thought about 1/2 the people on this list in 20 years, but can still hear your voices in my head as I read your posts, too funny. It's amazing what you remember. Damn, Joe's party. I passed out in the front seat of my Camaro with Donna Giorgio....

Ah yes, the tanning lamp. I belive I had second degree burns from that thing. Hehehe...my sister got grounded for buying it...while I ended up packing my face with silverdine burn cream. Still can't believe I'm not scarred from it...well physically anyway, emotionally--not so sure...thanks, Kim.

Eric, after seeing the new photo on your profile page, why on Gods good earth would you want to leave New England. And the rest of the world wonders why we have the rep of being old crabby and unpleasant....go figure....by the way, do you have an extra room you would like to rent out?

Just came back from Inauguration in DC with 5 chaps and 51 kids. COLD, COLD, COLD!! That's why I left NE!! Let's see--mountain views vs white sandy, beaches.... hmmmm....with temps here averaging 70 or so in the winter months, its too nice to pass up! Also, clean streets, clean median strips, and no potholes!!
BUT: also no family and hometown friends....sniff! Yes, Sully! I have a bed--I mean room to rent! (Sorry, Freudian slip??)

D.C. now that's what I call a fieldtrip! They weren't offering trips like that when we were in school! It must have been something!
:)

Yes! DC trip was amazingly cold, chaotic, and crazy--but worth it. Wouldn't do it again, but glad to know I was part of history--and the kids were impressed. Hope that inspires some of them!

Eric, I would think a few days alone in a hotel room with you would inspire anyone!
