Lorraine was a dear friend from the 4th grade on. We would walk to Cheltenham Elementary together, cutting across Melrose Country Club when we were late. Her mother must have thought she had another child I was at her house so often. When we were a little older we acted as helpers at St. Paul's Lutheran Bible School. Lorraine and her husband came East in 2019 so we had a chance to share a dinner and reconnect. After that we stayed in touch. So happy we had that opportunity. Lorraine was a beautiful soul.
