Spent many a Saturday night at Kraz's house in high school. Highlight of the evening was usually order of pizza from Continental on Ogontz Avenue. A good guy who was smart as hell but still knew his Phillies and Eagles.
And a skilled artist - I have his book of drawings and paintings on my book shelf and every once and a while I pick it up and look through it - so long ago, still hard to believe. - Gary
I was just thinking of him today myself. I just got to know him better the last couple years of high school. He was a real nice person. Funny and smart too.
I also remember Bob. We first met at day camp (as kids) and then renewed our friendship in high school (okay, as older kids). Like Mike Reisman wrote, I remember Bob as being very funny and smart. I didn't recall his artistic side, but Robert Louis posted an apt water color. Thanks to the other commentators for sharing your memories of Bob.

Today is 47 years since Kraz died. Here's one of his pictures, appropriate for today's memory.

Bob was a dear friend, mentor and guru, who believed in me before I believed in myself. He has been sorely missed.
