VLIETSTRA— Calvin (Cal) Vlietstra, aged 53, of Grandville passed away December 6, 2002 and went to be with his Lord. Cal was preceded in death by his father, Joe Vlietstra. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Barb; one daughter, Justine Vlietstra; one son, Michael Vlietstra all of Grandville; mother, Eleanor Vlietstra; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Nancy Wiers. Also surviving are one sister, Joellyn Overbeek of Borculo; one brother, Marc (Deb) Vliestra of Byron Center; two brothers-in-law, Gary Wiers and Kathy Goff both of Grandville, Paul (Pat) Wiers of Waukesha, WI; one sister-in-law, Pat (Terry) Johnston also of Grandville; four nephews, Jake and Judd Vlietstra, Eric and Jeff Robinson. Funeral Services will be held Monday I I a.m. at First Reformed Church of Grandville with Rev. Doug Van Bronkhorst officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home - Grandville (west building), 4235 Prairie St. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian Services or the Grandville High School Band Program.
