Terry Lee Bartell Sr., age 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. His is survived by his son, Tom (Tracy) Bartell; daughter, Dawn Anderson; grandchildren, Cassandra Bartell, Devin Bartell, Amber Anderson, Autumn Anderson, Brooke Anderson and Michael Anderson; great-grandchildren, Mckenna and Mya Starring; mother, Mary Anne Gamble; stepmother, Emelda Bartell; brothers, Michael (Doris) Bartell, John Bartell, Tony Bartell; sister, Sara (Bruce) Sexton; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Lee Bartell; father, Thomas Bartell Jr.; stepfather, Walter Gamble; and brother, Tom Bartell. Terry was retired from General Motors after 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved to go hunting, fishing and camping. He loved to be around his family and friends. Visitation and services were held at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland with Pastor Vande Vrede officiating. Interment was at Saints Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. In honor of Terry, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the family to offset funeral costs.
