This is from Mark Blaschak
I am an Ike 82 grad, who played with Brian on the football team. We learned linebacker together his senior year. He was a positive, athletic young man with a sparkling smile and personality. All who knew him benefited from his brief walk here on earth. He will always be remembered as long as I live. The loss is still real. I saw him the night he died after we had lost a game he came back to watch. His last words to me "Mark it is okay, get'em next year".
Thank you, Mark.

Brian was the love of my life. He would walk me home from school, he would hold my hand. I had dinner with him and his parents many times. His mother was in the beginning stages of MS an it was devastating to him and me. We had such a child like love. I will never forget he told me he had a great invention. I would ask him all the time what is the invention! He told me 20 or more times , you will tell some one. I promised I wouldn't! I can tell you to this day I wouldn't have. I beleive in promises. He never told me. Even after we broke up and re-united as great friends. I asked him again. And he would't tell me. I still Love him to this Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Susam

Brian and I were almost inseparable along with Ken Kilseimer as 5th graders through most of junior high. We drifted apart near high school but still remained close with a bond that can be appreciated if you've ever spent your impressionable years with someone special. Somewhere around 10th grade, I remember telling Brian of two girls I had met from West Valley and we immediately picked up where we had left off...laughing and dreaming and wondering what to do next. Nothing helps a boy of 14 or 15 face the challenges of chasing girls like the comfort of an old friend. Thank you Claudia and Abby.
I miss you Brian, more than I thought possible and not a year goes by that I don't think of you on or near the dates of your birth and death. I also can't hear Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" without remembering your special smile.

Brian always made me laugh. His smile was so contagious. He loved to joke and kid around. I remember him in class at Wilson Jr High. We both just laughted the whole time.
