Also known as "Doodles" through grade school and high school, Dan was a lifelong resident of Yeadon, first on the 500 block of Arbor Rd, then after marriage on the 800 block of Pleasant Rd. He graduated from Yeadon High School in 1978 and from Drexel University with a BS in Business Administration in 1983. He worked at the Yeadon Theater for a few years during high school, and worked for Campbell Soup Company after college. He was the Treasurer of the Yeadon Public Library from about 1986 till his death in 1989. We dated pretty much throughout high school and college, and married a year after we graduated. I cannot even begin to describe what a wonderful friend and husband he was to me, and how much he was looking forward to being a father. His daughter Catie was born 3 weeks after his death.
