Survived By: husband Charles Avila, daughter Barbara (St. Louis Class of 1982) (husband Anthony Gambacorda), son Duffy (St. Louis Class of 1984) (wife Shelly), grandchildren Gina, Trey, Nicole, Samantha and Dante, sister Peggy Purfield Benson (St. Louis Class of 1957)
Barbara was the star of the St. Louis volleyball, basketball and softball teams. She loved the fact that she lived her entire life in Yeadon.
