Comments:

After graduating St Louis I attended Msgr Bonner High school followed by Drexel University. After graduation I spent time in the Marine Corps Reserves where I attended Naval Weather School at Lakehurst NJ. I got married and entered the then new field of IT as a programmer and later on became an IT project manager. My mother still lives in Yeadon which I return to often.

School Story:

Luckily for us, St Louis was a pioneer in implementing smaller (less than 60) class sizes. The absolute peak of my St Louis school experience came in the sixth grade where we were under the control of the most famous of IHM nuns namely Sister Mary (Bucky) Walters. Who could forget the daily warnings about what would happen if Russia was not converted?
If only we could have earned frequent flyer miles for the distance we covered walking the blacktop I could have visited europe many times over. It was there we learned that dust brushes could be used for more than just hunting evil "dust bunnies" on Friday afternoons. I can't help but wonder if there are any pagan babies left as I think they were all purchased by St Louis students desperately trying to get out of home work for the weekend. I checked the "In memory" section and I don't see her listed. We were always warned that her Rosary Beads were "Blessed by the pope" which means she may actually still be out there perhaps teaching in Stone Harbor.

7th Grade Report Card - Apparently I had Sister Jasmine Marie but I cannot remember anything about her. I love the "Traits" we were graded on. I used to get my hands beaten with a metal ruler on a regular basis for bad hand writing ie "chicken scratch". That accounts for the straight 70's.
