Sister was such a cool lady. She played the tough lady to all of us but was really sweet on the inside. I kept in touch with her for a few years after graduating, but as all things go, life got in the way.
Two of the funniest things that I will always remember is:
1. In 8th grade she called me, Jack Burke and Jack DiIenno to the radio room through the loudspeaker in our homeroom. When we went down to see her, we figured we were in deep trouble. She was just sitting back in her chair, hands behind her head and smiling. All she said to us was, "Didn't know it was a two way radio, did you?" She just smiled and waved us off.
2. 6th Grade: We hung Eddie Shea up on the hooks on the cloak room door and closed it. She came storming in, opened the door, saw him hanging there, turned to us and said, "I don't want to know who did this, just get him down." and walked out.
The stories she must have told when she got back to the convent.
I think of these stories often and they still make me laugh 43 years later.

Sister Marita Williams was the best teacher I had in grade school! She really made an impression on me in a very positive way. May she RIP!
