Life’s Reflections
Ms. Cynthia Brown, the only child born to Ms. Henrietta Brown and Norris Singleton, was born on June 15, 1961 on Edisto Island, South Carolina.
She attended Jane Edwards Elementary School on Edisto Island, South Carolina and R. D. Schroder Middle School in Hollywood, South Carolina. After middle school, she migrated to New York and attended Norman Thomas High School in Bronx, New York. Cynthia returned to Edisto Island in 1980. She worked as a waitress. In 2001, she moved to Georgia where she met many friends who will miss her.
She was a very happy and loving person. Cynthia was loved by many family and friends. Her love and fond memories will forever be in the hearts of her three children, Mr. Kartel George Brown (Tess), Ms. Kartrell Brown, and Mr. Karseam Brown; her mother, Ms. Henrietta Brown; her grandchildren, Domonique Heyward, Essence Brown, Nevaeh Brown, and Kathyrn Marie Brown; two sisters, Amanda Mitchell (Jeffrey), and Letishia Thomas; one niece and one nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
