John Patrick Leetch, 57

POLAND – Services  will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, celebrated by Father Edward P. Noga, for John Patrick Leetch, 57, who passed away Tuesday at his residence.

Mr. Leetch was born Nov. 14, 1951 in Youngstown, a son of Jack and JoAnn Collins Leetch and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. 

John worked as a wire mill operator for Hynes Industries and as a self-employed painting contractor. 

He was a member of Saint Patrick Church and the United Steelworkers Union Local No. 2377, having served as vice president and financial secretary.

John was a veteran of the Army serving from 1972 to 1978, and in Vietnam from 1972 to 1974.

Besides his parents, with whom he made his home, he leaves two sisters, Jayne (Harry) Kale of New Middletown and Carrie Leetch of Boardman; four brothers, David (Karen) Leetch of Canfield, Scott (Kim) Leetch of Youngstown, Robert (Stephanie) Leetch of St. Augustine, Fla. and Timothy (Susan) Leetch of Boardman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
