Deidre Dlwgosh (Vanish) VIEW PROFILE

STRUTHERS – Deidre E. Vanish, 58, passed away Thursday afternoon, Aug. 4, 2011, at Maplecrest Nursing Home following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Deidre was born Sept. 24, 1952, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Emil P. and Veronica M. Sefcik Dlwgosh, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, and was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, baking, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Vanish was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie, No. 213.

Her husband, William L. Vanish, whom she married in March 17, 1986, passed away Dec. 2, 2003.

Deidre leaves three daughters, Andrea (Michael) Metcalf of San Antonio, Texas, Jessica Dlwgosh of Youngstown, and Sarah Dlwgosh of Struthers; five grandchildren, Seth, Bastien, Connor, Lilly, and Brooke; a brother, Keith (Karen) Dlwgosh of Youngstown; a sister, Kathleen A. (Albert) Guesman of Columbiana; and a sister-in-law, Marie Dlwgosh of McDonald.

Deidre will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband and parents, a brother, Chester Dlwgosh, is deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the funeral home.

Committal services will be at Calvary Cemetery.
