Stanley G. Kaminski, 54

YOUNGSTOWN – Stanley G. Kaminski, 54, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Stanley was born Nov. 22, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of Stanley F. and Mary Yarosh Kaminsky and was a lifelong area resident. 

He graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School, attended Youngstown State University and was a 25-year veteran of the Youngstown Police Department. 

Stanley was a member of St. Christine Church and F.O.P. Lodge No. 8. 

He leaves his mother, Mary Kaminsky of Youngstown; a brother, James W. Kaminsky of Youngstown; a nephew, Christopher Kaminsky of Virginia Beach, Va.; a niece Amy Kaminsky of Youngstown; and a great-nephew, James Michael Berick. 

His father is deceased. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Christine Church. 

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Youngstown Police Department Canine Unit, 116 W. Boardman St., Youngstown, OH 44503.
