BOARDMAN – Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic’s Church in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Vincent DeLucia for Louise Marchionda, 66, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.

Louise was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of Attilio and Eufrasietta Pompeo Marchionda.

She was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and also Youngstown State University.

Louise worked as a registered dietician in the St. Elizabeth Cardiology Department, and later as the dietician at Dandridge Nursing Home in Youngstown for over 10 years.

A member of St. Dominic’s Church, Louise enjoyed cooking and baking when she was not working.

Louise leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Eufrasietta Marchionda.

She was preceded in death by her father, Attilio, who passed away in 1986.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St.

She will be buried in Pacentro, Italy.
