I was deeply saddened when I saw Steve's name on the list of our deceased classmates. I remember that Steve was quite shy until fall of our Junior year. He came back from summer break and his shell was gone! His beautiful wry sense of humor stunned me. He was the hit of Mr. Cavanaugh's Senior English class. I'm sure the Angels cheered when he arrived in heaven. May he rest in Peace.

I also wondered all these years what had happened to Steve. He, along with Kevin McDermott, Jimmy Cola and myself were the four muskateers who ventured from Mooney to Miami of Ohio that year. We all lived in the same quad and boy did we make some memories. Steve was always there with his fun sense of humor and caring spirit.Steve, where ever you are, I know that you are making the spirits laugh. Not to mention you are a great "poker" player from days past.
