EDWARD CHARLES KNAPP GREEN BAY, WIS. – Edward Charles Knapp, 71, passed away after a long illness Friday, Oct. 8, 2010. He was a beloved father, and a warm, compassionate person. Edward was born Oct. 1, 1939, in Struthers. He graduated from Ursuline High School in 1958. He served in Christian Teaching Brothers from 1958 to 1963. Edward served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966. He was a longtime employee of Cooper Tire and the Department of Defense. Edward is survived by one daughter, Erica; two sons, Andrew and Mark; a sister, Mary; a brother, Martin; a niece, Stephanie; and his nephews, David, Gregory, and Edward.
