It's always so tough on all of us, when we lose someone, particularly from our Class of '63.  Joyce was one we all noticed going through high school and beyond.  On behalf of our Class, we extend our condolences to her family with the memories of her being very special.

When we moved to Ypsilanti in 1960, Joyce was the first person to ask me if I wanted to eat with her.  We had lunch together almost everyday and once in awhile we'd go downtown to get an ice cream sandwich or a soda at Woolworth's?  or the corner soda shop?  She was always so ready to extend herself to me and I'd watch for her in the halls at school so I'd have a buddy to be with.  I loved her beautiful smile.  You could tell that she cared about you.  So glad she had her family with her.  She was always kind to Marcia Holly Brown and her son, Chad too.  Here's to another angel, someone we can call on when we need Heavenly help.  I love you, Joyce.  Love and light to you........
