Barbara D. Crysler

Barbara D. Crysler, age 72 of Clare, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at her home. Barbara was born the daughter of John and Marie (Widmar) Cowan on December 24, 1944 in Heavener, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Jerry D. D Crysler on January 23, 1967. Barbara and Jerry moved to the Clare from Howell in 1975. She loved tending to her flowers and watching her birds at her house. Barbara also enjoyed many types of crafts.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years Jerry; their children Sherry Dandron of Lake, MI, Betsy (Jeff) Bordelon of New Orleans, LA, and Jerry (Veronica) Crysler of Farwell, MI; two siblings Johnny (Terrie) Cowan of Fort Smith, AR and Karen Davis of Poteau, OK; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her parents and a grandson.

Visitation and services will take place on Saturday 18, 2017 at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12, noon, with services led by Pastor John Kasper to be held at 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
