Lawrence R. Barnhart, Sr.
(October 3, 1943 - January 5, 2010)
Lawrence Reed Barnhart, Sr., age 66, of Belleville, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at his home. He was born October 3, 1943 in Ypsilanti, MI, son of the late John & Ruth (Quint) Barnhart.
He retired from General Motors Willow Run Assembly plant after more than 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and participating in the Van Buren Senior Center activites.
Lawrence is survived by two sons Lawrence (Sally) Barnhart, Jr. of Jackson, MI and Ray (Janet) Barnhart of Ypsilanti, MI, 4 grandchildren Heather, Amber, Brittany and Jeanna, three brothers Charlie Barnhart of Ypsilanti, MI, Bill Barnhart of Florida and Bob Barnhart of MI, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at DAVID C. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Belleville, MI, on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 2-6 PM with a 6 PM Funeral. Pastor Milford Byrd will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service.
