John J. Beblo, 72, of Chicora, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 13, 2018 at his residence.

He was born May 9, 1946 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Peter B. Beblo, Sr. and the late Mary T. Chajka Beblo.

John was a 1964 graduate of Butler Area High School. He is a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Vietnam War. John worked as a painter/stenciler for Pullman Standard for 17 years, followed by Trinity Industries for 10 years, and most recently for Valley Lines. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of the Happy Hunter Club. John enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda E. Montag Beblo, whom he married on February 14, 1970; daughter, Nicole E. Fleeger and her husband Richard of West Sunbury, PA; grand-daughter, Sophia E. Fleeger; two brothers, Peter B. Beblo, Jr. of Enfield, CT, and Charles Beblo of Butler, PA; four nieces; six great nieces; three nephews; four great nephews; brother-in-law, Paul Montag and his wife Joyce of Slippery Rock, PA; and his dog, Wolf .

Per his wishes, there will be no Public Visitation

Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Moniteau School District Little Warriors Basketball Program, 1810 W. Sunbury Rd, West Sunbury, PA 16061.
