Jack F. Bollinger

Jack F. Bollinger Jr., 75, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022.
He was born in Butler, on Jan. 22, 1947, and was the son of the late Jack and Jessie (McGinley) Bollinger.
Jack graduated from Butler High School, and later went on to attend college at Penn State for two years.
He was employed at Armco as a cold mill turn foreman.
Jack loved golfing and riding motorcycles. He was known for his smart and funny personality.
Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and will be forever missed.
Jack was the beloved father of Melissa Kelsch; grandfather of Stephaine Thorpe, August Kelsch, Joseph Kelsch III, Charlie Bollinger and Bradd Palmer; great-grandfather of Becca Thorpe and Xander Thorpe; and brother-in-law of Nancy (Ed) Davis and Bob (Kim) Tirk.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl (Tirk) Bollinger; and three children, Jack Bollinger III, Nancy Bollinger and Charles Bollinger.
BOLLINGER - Family and friends of Jack F. Bollinger Jr., who died Friday, July 8, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A memory service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

I had several classes with Jack. He was a smart guy and funny too. He'll be missed

John P. (Rick) Hoffman Sr.

Jack and I became friends many years ago before Junior and Senior High school and while we worked at "The Mill" and will be remembered for his sence of humor and always a smile for friends. He is already missed, our blessing to his family, and may he rest in peace!
