Karol A. Miller
Karol A. Miller, 62, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.
She was born July 25, 1946, in Butler, the daughter of the late Ralph Doerr and the late Linnie (Fitzpatrick) Doerr.
Karol was a member of the Community Alliance Church. Her church and family were her life.
She enjoyed doing crafts, calligraphy and drawing and had written a children's story for her sons.
She had worked in the purchasing department at American Hardware for 10 years.
Surviving are her husband, M. LeMoyne Miller, who she married June 9, 1972; three sons, Michael D. Miller and his wife, Megan, of Sarver, Nicholas J. Miller and his wife, Kate, of Butler and Benjamin L. Miller and his wife, Natalie, of Renfrew; two grandsons, Ian and Mason Miller; a granddaughter, Amelia Miller; and a grandson on the way, Cullen Miller; two brothers, Jack Doerr and his wife, Marsha, of Meridian and Patrick Doerr and his wife, Mary, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
MILLER - Friends of Karol A. Miller, who died Monday, July 6, 2009, will be received from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. immediately following the visitation with her minister, the Rev. Dennis Krajacic, officiating. Interment will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
