Christine Powell-Rhodes, 62, died Tuesday.
She was the beloved mother of Angela Conklin, Anthony C. and Aaron D. Ehrman; grandmother of Logan W. and Lauren C. Conklin; and sister of Bill and David Powell and Margaret Koblack.

Chris is one of those friends I lost touch with for many years.  We "found" each other again and had just started doing things.  I was so happy to have spent the holiday with her at a picnic at her sister's.  Spent the day stuffing our faces with good food and remembering the "good old days".  We were supposed to get together again the day she died.  She was funny and up-beat, looking forward to what the future held.  I do and will miss her.   RIP Chris.

Chris and I were friends for many years she was like my gyspy  friend in and out of my life.  She would show up

at my office and we would have long talks.  She always had a funny story to tell me.  I was saddened by her death

as I have known her since 6th grade at Center Avenue School, and thru our high school years.  Senior trip
