Ted Garrett, 51, of Boyd, TX, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, in Boyd.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Jaybird Cemetery. White's Funeral Home of Springtown, TX, is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Garrett was born Feb. 15, 1958, in Sangamon, son of Pier and Leola Garrett. He had lived in the Boyd area for 15 years.

He leaves his mother, Leola Garrett; son, Casey (wife Kayla) Garrett of Springtown; stepdaughter, Kayla Conway; brother, Don Garrett; two grandchildren; and many other family members.

His father, Pier Garrett, and a sister, Patsy Kimbro, preceded him in death.
