Class of 1967
2025 SUMMER NEWS FOR WILSON ‘67
There are major changes taking place with our class reunions for the next two years. The Wilson ’67 Reunions Committee has decided not to hold an all-class reunion this year or next. Our next full reunion will be our 60th in 2027. In the meantime, we are encouraging you and your Grade School Coordinators to hold smaller reunions. In addition, our website is up and running and we are making changes to make it more informative and more fun to access.
GRADE SCHOOL EVENTS
The list of Wilson ’67 Reunions Committee and Grade School Coordinators is accessible in the upper right of this screen. Please take the time to contact your Coordinator and tell them of your interest in attending and, perhaps, assisting with organizing a get-together. Make sure you are on their contact list and find out whom they have been unable to locate.
They have a list of potential meeting sites and some details. These include Lucky Lab, Multnomah, Kennedy School, Oaks Park, Old Market Pub, Old Spaghetti Factory, Portland Parks, Stark Street Pizza, Stockpot Broiler, Super King Buffet, and Washington County Parks.
Also, consider offering your home. Provide a main dish and utensils and classmates (including guests) brought a side dish and something to drink.
Please consider becoming a Grade School Coordinator or assisting yours. The Wilson ’67 Reunions Committee provides contact information and lets the Coordinators know of changes. We can also provide advice on locations.
- Linda Larson Cox is considering taking over for Capitol Hill but wants someone to volunteer to work with her. Reach her at cox.linda@gmail.com, 503-537-8071.
- Jon Wiener is leaving as Coordinator for Robert Gray and is willing to stay until we find a replacement. Contact him at jonwiener@icloud.com, 503-679-8046.
If you have not received information in the past from your Grade School Coordinator, then we may not know that you went to that grade school. Let Janice Johnson (janicekjohnson7@gmail.com, 541-857-6733) or Kent Fredrickson (quixotikf@comcast.net, 503-381-6798, 503-524-1179), know. If you did not go to one of the feeder grade schools, we are sorry but you have no Coordinator. You could ask to be included in events with one of the grade schools.
CLASS WEBSITE
Please make sure your profile is up-to-date. You can also add photos of and about yourself. To add photos, see the list of “Member Functions” in the navigation column on the website’s left side. Click “Edit Profile” and upload a photo. Check out who else is on there and read about what they have been doing.
Janice Johnson is the website administrator, Bill Kinsey is a co-administrator to evaluate our photo situation to make them easier to access and Kent Fredrickson is a co-administrator who is determining what additional information we can provide regarding our deceased classmates. Janice is seeking another co-administrator who is active on social media and really enjoys it. We need help to get discussions going on the website and to recommend ways to keep classmates interested. Janice would continue to take care of administrative tasks.

DECEASED CLASSMATES
Our website contains the names of everyone we know who has passed away. Kent Fredrickson, who is in charge of our beloved database, has been researching the dates our classmates passed and they have been added to our website. He also has additional information for some of them. Please notify Kent or Janice if you want to add someone to the list, correct incorrect information or add important information about a deceased classmate. In addition, on this website you can add your comments about anyone who has passed.
