Cheryl B. Overholt
DUMFRIES, VA - Cheryl Beverly (Anderson) Overholt, 61, of Dumfries, VA, died August 25, 2009, at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge, VA.
She was an office manager with Potomac Urology until her retirement this year. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Covenant and Women of the Moose, Dale City chapter.
She married Philip N. Overholt in June 1969. She moved to Virginia in 1977. She earned an associate degree in medical records technology from Northern Virginia Community College and her bachelor of business administration degree from Averett College. Prior to her position with Potomac Urology she was the office manager for Fairfax Colon & Rectal Surgery in Fairfax , VA.
Cheryl was a member of the Prince William County Community Services Board for seven years, serving as chairwoman her final year. She also served as a board member for D-T-Q Little League.
She is survived by her husband, Philip, Dumfries; two sons, Mark of Nokesville, VA, and Ryan of Kingston, MA; parents, Edward and Virginia Anderson of Orleans, MA; brother Steve Anderson of Orleans; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for September 2, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Covenant at 15008 Cloverdale Road, Dale City, VA. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
