Viggiano, John A. Sr. EAST GREENBUSH John A. Viggiano, Sr., 66, of East Greenbush died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at home. John was born in Albany. He was a telephone repairman for Verizon for 33 years before retiring in June 2002. John served in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict earning the Purple Heart. John was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Wynantskill post 1489 and was a loyal member of the CWA local 1118 John is survived by his wife, Judith L.(Anderson) Viggiano; a daughter, Tammi Albanese and three sons, John A "Tony" Viggiano Jr., Benjamin Viggiano and Dominic Viggiano. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 10:30 Friday morning from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. Friends may call in the funeral home Friday morning from 9 - 10:30 prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
