Since 1998, I attended The Ohio State University where I majored in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Animal Sciences. While at OSU, I served as the National 1st Vice President of the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow. I coordinated the student critique contest and helped to plan the national convention in Reno, Nevada. I graduated from Ohio State in 2002 as one of the top 10 seniors in the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
After graduating from OSU, I worked in Bowling Green, OH for 2 1/2 years as a media relations specialist in a grant funded position. I moved home in 2004 and now reside on my grandparents' farm. I have been working in Athens assisting school districts with state funding since 2005.
That year was also the first year for our family to start pulling with the Ohio State Tractor Pullers (OSTPA) and National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA). This year was our fourth year to compete at the National Tractor Pulls in Bowling Green. I've been in charge of the Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association website since 2007 updating results and points throughout the summer.
In 2008, I started selling Pioneer Hi-Bred seeds with my dad.
I also help out whenever needed on my parents' farm.
