Jacqueline Texada Jackson

After graduating from high school, I went to Northwestn for a year. Durning the last half of that year, I got married. Still married...married all my life...:) My husband and I started a family with 4 children. I went back to college to become a nurse and have been a nurse since 1984. I moved to North Carolina in 1992 and have been working at the in surgery since that time. I have sucessfully, with the grace of God, raised beautiful intelligent children who has now blessed me with wonderful, loving grandchildren. I have been married almost 30 years to a blessed man of God who is my best friend. We are enjoying the empty nest so much that sometimes I feel guilty :)My good days outweigh my bad days, .....so I wont complain.

At Ash, I was quiet and didnt like school that much. But I eventually learned that education was important and I had to obtain it to have a better life for myself and family. Therefore I became a registered nurse and have had a great career. I am one that have never wished that I was back in high school. Didnt miss it at all but missed some of the people.
