Craig is survived by his wife Shelley; daughter, Schelby Betz and son-in-law, Christopher Betz; step-son, Scott Jones; father, William Newnam; sister, Sandra Raine; nephew, Christopher Raine and niece, Cheryl Heller. He was born in Portsmouth, VA and attended Thomas Jefferson High in Alexandria, VA, then Elon College in Burlington, NC. He moved to Denver in 1976. He started working with United Air Lines in 1973 and retired after 33 years.
