Lived in Allen. Worked in banking 23 years then insurance 11 years. In 2006 I contracted an illness called Guillian-Barre Syndrom. Was hospitalized from 2/1/06 until 10/1/06. Was on life support for 6.5 months due to being totally paralized. Began walking with walker in Dec.06. Was walking and driving by Feb. 07. I'm mostly recovered. |

2008 Atmos Energy Awards Banquet. We don't get dressed up like this very often.

8/31/06 my first venture outside the hospital since 2/1/06. sister Karen, mom Sammie & dad Leo were almost as happy as I was. All the pillows were to hold me up because I couldn't do it myself. Finally off of life support!
