Spent 21 years in Air Force, 8 moves, including 2 in Texas, Philippines, New Mexico, Illinois, California, Alaska and finally Nebraska. Once the kids got into school, we didn't want them to move again, so we stayed.First marriage lasted about 1 year, second marriage 21 years; he died in 1995 and I buried him in Battle Creek, Michigan. Have been with Gene now for almost 12 years. His son Eric (35) and wife Shannon have given us 4 lovely grandsons (ages 9 to 16). They live in Vinnces, Indiana, we see them as often as possible. My sister Pam is here in LaVista with me, her boys (9, 13 and 22) keep us busy and entertained here. Gene and I love to take off in the summer in our 5th wheel camper and see what we can see and spend time with friends and relatives in the great outdoors. |
